One issue with Sarbaugh may be the fact that he was a 1995 replacement player. Could be why he keeps getting overlooked and why no other team has swooped in to grab him....

I would love to see gim on the Tribes staff though. Smith is a terrible coach.

Just a small error....Kluber was acquired from the Padres, not the Cardinals. It was the Westbrook deal but was a 3-team deal where Ludwick went to SD.

He is still walking too mny people but that K-rate is impressive. Could be a solid 7th/8th inning guy longterm in the bigs

Lots of small market rep too. Lecob, Presti, Gilbert, O'Conner, Colangelo Hollins and Carlisle all represent small or mid market clubs. If I didn't know any better I'd say the NBA was looking at a move towards parity rather than just splitting Championships between Boston and LA (who are both represented) like it's been for the last 50 years.

I'll agree on your "it's a business" point but disagree on the "traitor" tag.

Ozzie worked for the Browns as a coach/FO person when the team was moved to Baltimore; hence his job was moved to Baltimore.

If your company asked you to relocate because your position was being eliminated in the current city you worked in or wait around without a job until a new office is opened in your city 5 years later which would you do?

Ozzie was employed as a coach with the team before the Browns moved.

When the deal was done Ozzie's job was moved to Baltimore; leaving him no job in Cleveland.

It's not so much a question of loyalty as it was a matter of employment.

Hey thanks captain obvious. I think most of us knew the scenario but he never even tried to go back to cleveland in any capacity. I don't care about who offered who opportunities the fact that when he accepted this gig he basically turned his back on Cleveland. So not only is Modell a piece of crap for what he did(and I know why he did it with the stadium deal so I don't need a history lesson) but he also took one of my favorite players. Ozzie Newsome is a good gm and seems like a nice person but I hope he fails in Baltimore miserably.

Maybe that's the point? If the point of the competition committee is to revamp rules and operating procedures in basketball, it would help to have some fresh blood, as opposed to long-standing owners who are used to the "same old".

your boys tire out? I try to tire my sons out by having them run, play tag, play sports, etc. It just seems to rile them up.

girls are different for sure. not easier, not harder, but different. with 3 older brothers showing her the ropes, I wouldn't expect a passive playing daughter though :)
